OUR HISTORY

50 Years of Excellence

Founded in 1974, Kelachandra Pipe Industries began as a PVC pipe manufacturer and has grown into a trusted leader in the plumbing and piping industry. In 2000, the company expanded into PVC fittings, becoming a one-stop solution for plumbing needs.

Quality

Quality has been a cornerstone of Kelachandra’s journey. Achieving ISO 9001:2008 certification in 2008 and ISO 9001:2015 certification in 2018 highlighted its commitment to excellence. By 2015, all pipe sizes (20mm-250mm) earned ISI certification, reinforcing its reputation for reliability. Diversification has been key to its success. In 2013, Kelachandra Polymers launched HDPE water storage tanks, and by 2019, the company entered the mouldings sector, expanding further in 2020 with Kelachandra Mouldings.

Sustainability

Kelachandra also embraced sustainability in 2017 by entering the rainwater harvesting sector. Its dedication to innovation and quality earned the Best Entrepreneur in Kottayam District award in 2019. Celebrating 50 years in 2024, Kelachandra is a trusted name across Kerala and Tamil Nadu, continuing its legacy of quality and customer trust.
